The Synology DiskStation DS925+ is a powerful 4-bay NAS designed for small businesses and advanced users. It features a quad-core AMD Ryzen processor, 4GB of ECC RAM (expandable to 32GB), and dual 2.5GbE ports for fast performance. Supporting both SATA and M.2 NVMe SSDs, it allows SSD caching and storage expansion up to 180TB with the DX525 unit. Running on DiskStation Manager (DSM), it includes tools for backup, file sharing, media, and surveillance, with support for up to 40 IP cameras. Use of Synology-compatible drives is recommended for best performance.
