How do I generate and upload system logs for support tickets?
If the Synology support team requests system logs, follow the instructions below and provide the service log for further investigation.
Log into your account
Create a Synology account or log in to your existing one HERE.

Add devices
Before raising a support ticket, you must add your device to your Synology account.
NOTE: If no device is added before you create a ticket, the system will not recognize the product model or serial number. |


Create a ticket and follow up
Once your device is listed under "Devices," you can create a support ticket via the "Support" tab.


NOTE:
In case of issues with FANS, PSU, HDD, PCIe, Cameras, SSDs, or other components, the case must be logged using the main NAS serial number. Mention the component’s serial number in the description. |
